Snells rancid

"Immediately upon opening it smells like rancid oil, and had a gummy layer on top. I had to rinse off twice just to get the slick feeling to go away, and cleansed twice with my regular cleanser. Once i was able to remove it, my skin did feel hydrated, but i cant in good conscience recommended this. Extremely disappointed."

"I know this says it’ll remove the most stubborn of makeup, but it really didn’t work that well for my waterproof eyeliner and mascara. It did do a good job with everything else and left my skin not feeling tight or overly sensitive like I’ve felt with other makeup removers."

It's fine

"this worked really well to remove my makeup! but I'm not sure if buy it again. personal preference, the rosemary oil makes it smell too "foody" to me. I do not like the packaging on this product. it's huge for the amount of product in the container, what a waste of plastic and space on my counter! I really wish this was in a tube instead of tub, generally I prefer products I don't have to stick my fingers in"

"For the price, this is actually a pretty good product. The packaging is a little… questionable 😂 but I guess that’s the aesthetic the marketing team decided to go with. The cleanser feels like butter and works great as a first cleanse. I also appreciate the instructions telling me to do a second cleanse because apparently one round of washing my face isn’t enough to undo my life choices. I probably wouldn’t buy it again, but I definitely don’t regret buying it. It gets the job done, feels nice, and the smell is a bonus for me. Overall, not life-changing, but definitely not a regret purchase either."
